
Hello again,
This is yet another of my favourite slice recipes. It is super sticky and chocolatey and is not too sweet.

Base:
Utensils:
- Measuring cups
- Measuring spoons
- Spatula
- 20 x 30 cm slice tray
- Glass cup, round
Ingredients:
- 3 Weet-Bix biscuits
- 1 cup desiccated coconut
- ½ cup caster sugar
- 1 cup self raising flour
- 2 tbsps. cocoa
- 150g butter, melted
- 1 tsp. vanilla essence
Method:
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Line slice tray.
- Break up weet-bix and place into a medium mixing bowl with coconut and sugar. Add flour and cocoa and stir.
- Pour butter over dry ingredients and add vanilla. Mix well.
- Spoon mixture into prepared tray and smooth with cup. Bake for 15 mins or until cooked.
Icing:
Utensils:
- Glass jug
- Spoon
- Measuring cups
- Measuring spoons
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups icing sugar
- 1 tbsp. cocoa
- 3 tbsp. boiling water
Method:
- Add icing sugar and cocoa to the glass jug. Add water and stir well.
- Ice slice while still hot. Allow to cool and cut into pieces.
Tip:
Use a smooth glass cup to evenly spread base in tray
