Simple Nutella Speckle Icecream- Serves 2

Hello, hello, hello!

Yes, you read the title correctly, I am bringing you an icecream recipe (well, sort of), this recipe is super simple and for a good reason, in this recipe I use store bought ice-cream (this adds to the element of simplicity), but you can definitely substitute it for your own home-made icecream!

Cooking Utensils

  • 1 Ice-cream scoop or spoon
  • Tablespoon
  • Extra spoon
  • Bowl- to combine ice-cream and ingredients
  • Two plastic cups (a little smaller than 250mL, party cups do great!)
  • Small bowl

Ingredients

  • 2 large scoops of ice-cream
  • 2 tablespoons of nutella
  • 2 tablespoons of milo

Method

  1. Put nutella in small bowl and microwave for 20 seconds, allow it to cool slightly.
  2. Scoop the ice-cream into the other bowl and add the milo.
  3. Using the extra spoon, mix these together until it is blended nicely.
  4. Finally mix in the nutella, mix it in thoroughly or lightly, depending on how chunky you want the chocolate speckles.
  5. Separate the mixture into 2 parts and scoop into cups.
  6. Press the mixture down so it has a flat surface (if you want).
  7. Put in freezer for 20 minutes to allow to harden (keep it in the freezer if you don’t want it straight away) and enjoy!

There you go, this one was simple, but if you’re cooking for kids, or even adults, this is absolutely delicious! Its simple to make and perfect for celebrating World Nutella Day πŸ˜‰

Stay sweet!

Grace.
