Lemonade Scones

Hello All,

This recipe is super easy and is a great idea if you need something for a special mothers day morning tea!

Utensils:

  • Scone cutter (circle cutter)
  • Large bowl
  • Measuring cups
  • Baking tray
  • Baking paper
  • Rolling pin

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • ½ cup lemonade
  • ½ cup cream
  • Salt

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 220 degrees Celsius and line a baking tray.
  2.  Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
  3. Tip the mixture onto the bench and slowly knead.
  4. Roll out the mixture until it is about 2cm thick.
  5. Cut out scones with the cutter and place on the tray with their edges touching.
  6. Knead the remaining mixture again until it is combined and repeat steps 4 and 5. Keep doing this until you have used all the mixture.

Note:

  1. You can add dates or sultanas to your scones to make fruit scone
