Honeycomb Slice

Looking for something new to bake in your free time? Look no further than this super crunchy and delicious honeycomb slice!

Ingredients:

  • 150g choc-coated honeycomb
  • 200g milk arrowroots biscuits
  • 100g unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 200g milk chocolate chopped
  • 2 tsp vegetable oil

Utensils:

  • Chef’s knife
  • Cutting board
  • Saucepan
  • Large bowl
  • Scales
  • Measuring spoons
  • Measuring cups
  • Slice tray
  • Baking paper

Method:

  1. Place butter and condensed milk into a small saucepan and melt over low heat.
  2. Roughly chop up honeycomb and biscuits. Add to biscuits and honeycomb into a bowl and mix well. Pour the condensed milk over the biscuit mixture and combine well.
  3. Press firmly into a greased slice pan and refrigerate until set.
  4. Melt chocolate and oil in small bowl over boiling water. Pour over base and refrigerate until firm.
