This recipe is absoloutely delicious and the sauce is super versatile. It’s also super tasty with steak or chicken breasts.

Ingredients:
- 1kg frozen prawns
- 9 garlic cloves
- 4 tblsps butter
- Cream (approx. 300mL)
- 2 tblsps. Plain flour
- 1 ½ cups Rice
- Salt
- Pepper
Utensils:
- Wok
- Garlic crusher
- Measuring cups
- Measuring spoons
- 2x Saucepans (One is to cook the rice so if you have a rice cooker you can use that)
- Wooden spoon
- Whisk
Method:
- Peel the prawns and set aside to thaw. Half fill a saucepan with water and place on high heat to boil. Once the water begins to bubble add rice. Stirring occasionally. (Note if you have a rice cooker, cook ½ cups of rice in that).
- Crush 6 garlic cloves and add to the remaining saucepan with 2 tablespoons of butter. Fry off garlic on medium heat.
- Add flour and stir to combine. Pour a small amount of cream to the saucepan and stir until combined. Gradually add more cream, whisking constantly until the sauce begins to become runnier.
- Season with salt and pepper and leave on low heat while you cook the prawns.
- Crush the remaining 3 cloves of garlic and add to the wok with 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the prawns to the wok and cook until brown.
- Drain rice once cooked and serve with prawns and garlic sauce.
